QUARANZINE CKBK: A cookbook for these times is a handmade zine contemplating motherhood, food, race, and familial grief in the time of Covid-19. Created by A CLEARING co-director Alana Dao to document her experience under Portland, Maine’s stay-at-home order, this zine also contains five recipes, collage, and tender family photos. Proceeds after cost of production will benefit Through These Doors (formerly Family Crisis), a domestic violence resource center serving Cumberland County, Maine.
