Vienna Union Hall Pop-Up

  • Vienna Union Hall 5 Mountain Road Vienna, ME 04360 USA (map)

We're delighted to spend the autumn afternoon of Sunday. October 19th from 1pm - 4pm in the good company of Sally Eckhoff and Michelle Hauser immersed in art in the gorgeous Vienna Union Hall. Free to attend and all are welcome! Light refreshments will be served!

Doors open at 1pm. There will be a 2pm screening of Sally Eckhoff's "The Innocent Bystander", a short animation of the iconic song by Dan Hicks. Michelle Hauser will exhibit selections from her ongoing photographic series "Halls of Power" documenting Maine's historic meeting halls and their role in invigorating American democracy. And we'll read from our mail art collaboration A POSSIBLE PRACTICE: Surrender My Softness (with projections!) and discuss our collaborative practice and our radical love of the USPS. Our books, zines, and ephemera will be on display and available for purchase.

This event is supported by the Kindling Fund, a grant program administered by SPACE as part of the Andy Warhol Foundation for the Visual Arts Regranting Program. Photograph of the Vienna Union Hall by Michelle Hauser.
